Our founder, Larry G. Nunnally faithfully started NEW COVENANT CHURCH  over  36 years ago on August 8, 1974.    A few years after its founding, the Holy Spirit guided the founding congregation to receive Dr. E. L. Rickles as Church Pastor who has led the Body in boundless ministry to this community ministering to the whole person, spirit, soul and body.  The sick, hurting, poor, and those desiring a deeper knowledge of the truth and to walk with the Lord can receive a Word in due season each Sunday Morning as well as other inspirational meeting.   Many transformations have taken place since the early days of humble beginnings which brings us to this present time.  Today, as a church family who has withstood the test of time we are ever so passionately supercharged and energized with the love of God through Jesus Christ.    We set our mission to emcompass the love of everyone, with no exception to race, creed or color.  This is our best description of who New Covenant Church is and how our members respond to its mission in the community.  Dr. E. L. Rickles founded a School of Ministry as a labor of love and now holding a over 30 year history with a new school year beginning  each September (with over 40 church pastors and over 1,500 graduates).   Dr. Rickles constantly directs students to the Word of God for every act of life having overall soundness in teaching the Body of Christ to respond to life in love because love fulfills every law and guarantees a favorable end of the issues of life.  The in-depth studies equips the student for ministry and enables him/her to walk in the things they have learned. Our mission has been clearly defined, established, proven and stands firm as we took our place as a leader in our community, teaching the Body of Christ to live the Word everyday with exuberance, power, soundness of mind, pureness of heart, in Spirit and in Truth.  Our love walk is a marquee showing the World God in action through the deeds we render each moment we live. The love example can not be refuted as “God is love.” To love God and our brother only requires submission to the call of God for everyone who names the name of the Jesus as Savior, Lord and Christ. Our vision merely states what we could be, but our place of witness shows the world who we are.  For over 36 years we have gone through many metamorphoses as a body of believers, but it is our individual transformations that have kept the framework of our mission in full force; full of the life of God through Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit as the Chief Administrator. Faithfully we look forward to the prize of our high calling to be found among those who made a landmark difference in how the world sees Jesus and ultimately win as many as the Lord calls to find a place of safety of eternal value in the Lord Jesus Christ.  We proclaim freedom to the Nations in Jesus name and that Jesus is Lord!
